Irelia is currently still a fun champ for me, yet she feels kinda old. Would it be enough to justify for her to get a slight rework?

She needs a visual update and a new ult and W so she's not just trinity force in champion form.

She's already confirmed to have a full VGU. And to answer your question, yes. She has some unique mechanics like the Q reset and "uniqueness" of her ult but that's not enough to make up for the rest of her kit.
