I used Sivir to block both a lux ultimate and a garen ultimate at the same time. They should make her shield time based, not ability based.... makes more sense for a markswoman. This way, there is a windows of time when she would be immune to attacks, not the number of attacks. I have video footage of this. Garen Sivir Lux

very bad idea, sivir is already strong as it is and her Spellshield is rewarded in the sense that it gives her back mana if she blocks a Skill. If you were to make her spellshield duration based instead of trigger-count based it would make her so undeniably op for the game that the weakest hotfix were to immediately reverse the buff. the reason why is simple. ADCs are decisive for the lategame where the teamfights begin, and teamfights usually do not last longer than maybe 5 seconds assuming both teams have a tank, an onhit champ, an assassin/mage, a standart support I.E. thresh and their respective adc. If the spellshield was to be duration based you could just trigger it once during the most crutial time in the teamfights, when people focus you, and you would negate more than half the damage dealt to you, every single hard cc available. roots, stuns, silences, supresstion, knock ups, knock backs. you would completely shut down entire champions or even whole comps with the press of a button while you lash out your crits and your superbly underestimated damage and AA resets. So no, leave the spellshield as it is, because not only is it already how the mechanic itself works, it would prevent her from growing off the charts op.

i mean look at fioras counter....samething only last and blocks several abilities thats op as shyt. also i tend to build sivir as a onhit champ becuase you rek face in team fights due to your w procing like 10 times as long as you have runaans and rageblade.

the Problem is fiora's Counter is fairly unrewarding and only suitable against a 1v1 scenario. If you hit her with a hard CC then she can Counter it but stuns only one single enemy champion, plus if she does land a stun with her W she does NOT apply the attack speed and movement speed reduction, means she can do either or. Fiora's W in this sense is not a spellshield, it is a genuine and unique ability to Counter anything and with the stupendously high cooldown, low range and hit box, a travel time that can be dodged and mediocre damage and ratios at best all it really is is an utility spell for defence purposes. Sivirs E is a legitimate spellshield, no Counter whatsoever, so you have to reconsider all factors before you put those 2 into comparison

counter has been the bane for me several times due to it blocking multple things like a stupid windwall

at the least it is A unique B has an open time window to be dodged, sidestepped or otherwise evaded and C is a skillshot that Needs to be aimed in order for the Counter to actually Counter back otherwise it is just a 0.75 second window of invurnerability which falls off really hard once the game passes the 20 minute mark

hey all i have to say is fioras is time based

still dont know why it blocks an infinite amount of abilities as long as they hit at the same time. I'm not asking for sivir nerfs or whatever, but it's so fucking stupid when it says blocks a spell. Not "all spells that hit her within .25 seconds"

do you understand how rare it is for that to happen

like they would literally have to hit at the same instance to block both of them and the chances of that are incredibly rare especially given the time frame of the spellshield

how exactly is it supposed to be determined which spell gets mitigated if two spells hit at the same time and only one is supposed to be blocked

it happens very often actually Q-W sivir's spellshield as leblanc and it'll block both E-Q as J4 will get blocked by the spellshield as well. Syndra Q-E if E is used about half a second after Q is cast will get blocked Many more combos are blocked too.

Even if they hit at the same time, the game can tell it's from different sources. Don't get what you're trying to say here.

the source of it is irrelevant

what i'm saying is going by what you said about its supposed to block one spell

if multiple spells hit her at the same instance of her using her spellshield, how is it supposed to be determined which spell gets blocked if it's only going to block one

i literally specified the sentence after and said within ".25 seconds"
