My coaches agree for the most part, dodging against a good Xerath is exclusively predictive......

I got coaching spent about 60 $ on 3 different people to help me play against them and learn to dodge xerath skill shots. Basically I learned that THERE IS NO MECHANICAL WAY to sidestep, especially if you are in the middle of his abilities. What I learned from them, and from attempting myself over 5 games...... is if you want to dodge his damage you have to predict where he will look at you next.

I'm sorry, but if Anivia Q and Lux q and ult and similar things have a LARGER on-screen ability, why is their hit box more or less under control? Xerath has long range and innacurate animations . His hitboxes are more like hit-ovals. The placing of the damage is inconsistent . Try it. And I welcome any Xerath main to 1 v 1 me and give me tips or try to explain their champion to me. I wish a Rioter would adjust his graphics and in game indicators, even if you don't nerf him like you did with Syndra's damage radius, at least if you made xerath's visual abilities take up more space to accurately tell players where the damage is going to be--- it would be less frustrating, even if unavoidable with sidestepping.

Some times i am literally inside the animation of an Orianna q or a Jayce q and my Lissandra walks right past it. Xerath needs some adjustments please. Yes. yes, he is immobile.... but if you get no help from your junglers how exactly to you beat him even if he runs out of mana? He has stuns to run away from danger and can keep me under the back of my turret when he's barely at the midway point of the middle lane. I sincerely believe this is not fair for the player experience.

I'm not asking for nerfs, more like adjustments for counter play because I believe he is in a really good spot. Please don't give me answered based on high-elo, as most people are not at that level and the game should never revolve around rewarding the best in this case. Needing real life help here and I'd say I'm a decent player at times, but I don't want to start banning Xerath just because of the possibility. How exactly do you beat him as Akali, Cass, Janna, Ryze, Brand pre lvl 6.

If any of you actually found a way to sidestep or spin during his animation, it would mean so much for me if you could share your tips I'm really frustrated. It seems you can't go to the sides, and going back towards your tower in a straight line almost never works because of the extreeeeemely long ability.

Push into his tower and force him to use abilities on the wave.

There's no real good way to dodge his abilities. The best thing to do is to make him prioritize cs over harassing you.

Also,

the game should never revolve around rewarding the best in this case.

yes it really should and that should be your incentive to get better. You ask for some help and insist you're a decent player but you have no desire to play the game properly or receive answers from someone who actually can deal with Xerath.

Let the xerath complaints BEGIN. I started banning him a couple days ago because he is so absolutely cancer to fight in lane
