Can we get a support udpate?

It would be appreciated. Although not a support main, I think that if there was an update changing and enhancing the support role not only I, but other people would enjoy playing support more. A few things that need to be addressed is gold income, itemization, and champions themselves.

Some champions I have in mind are:

I know that these champions aren't traditional support-role champions, but they don't really have a good place right now and I think the support role could be some where for them to be if they received some changes making them a bit more suited for the role.

Nunu - Nunu is nowhere close to being viable right now. As a jungler he doesn't offer much, counter-jungling will most likely get him killed, his ganks are weak, his utility is low, and his objective control isn't really close to being at where it should be since he only really offers damage v.s the epic monster he is trying to secure. I think Nunu could have a good place as a support, perhaps even one of the "roaming supports" that Riot hasn't done much with.

Heimerdinger - Heimerdinger is hard to deal with...if you are new to the game. Most champions have some kind of method when it comes to dealing with the Donger, a lot can use their auto attacks to take away his turrets, and others rely on spells or tankiness to deal with his turrets. This makes his signature ability only useful when we are talking being safe in lane v.s a gank. His kit is decent for the support role, but could use some changes to support this. Right now the main thing holding him back as a support is how his turrets will take the cs of his marksman, I am sure this could be fixed.
