Gold-Diamond differences?

There's not much of skill gap difference. Just alot of fucking ego differences.

When you finally hit Diamond and experience it yourself, you will understand that these Diamond boosted players are no better just higher ego thinking they're good

Maybe not mechanical difference. But there is a reason some people are stuck in gold. Some people for example are incapable of keeping a cool head and just throw the whole game when they can't solo carry it, I call this the weak mental state.

Generally speaking, Diamond players are more self-absorbed and insufferably arrogant. Not an absolute, but generally true.

While I'd be the first to talk smack on my fellow Diamonds, 99% of the time I'm not genuine.

Golds and Plats lack many things Diamonds simply know as a basic. Rotations, champion limits, map awareness, mental. A Diamond player on their main and role, will easily stomp 90% of all Plat2 and below. There is a gap between P1-D4 players that is muddied, but ultimately if you are in that range that's who I'm talking about.

The problem with Diamond is this... Boosted Diamonds sully Diamond. Content players ruin games, Trolls are just better at trolling then all other elos below. When you have a "bad" player, it more prevalent because the other 5 players are Diamonds not Gold. Meaning their skill and how to abuse that player makes it harder for you to carry or make up for that players slack.

Theses are the factors that make all elos mesh. If you think it goes away the higher elo you get, you're sadly mistaken it get's worse.

If all players where always playing 100% you would never say that, but they don't because this community is really really toxic in all elos.

Statistically speaking, I read that a team of Diamond 5 (no one boosted) will beat a team of Plat 5 90% of the time. That's what the numbers say about the difference a tier makes.

The biggest difference is absolute mastery of Micro play. I don't simply mean CS'ing and warding.

For example, when your jungler comes to gank, a Diamond player is far more likely to have the proper approach timing (so as to not start as losing trade and risk getting turned onto, or lose too much health from minion aggro early on). Along with that, junglers in Gold will simply gank because the lane is pushed in, but sometimes won't consider the size of the enemy wave (ex. fighting at level 2 into a wave with 5-7 minion advantage can easily be a losing fight). Or considering how much gold/xp the laner 'may' lose for the 'chance' of getting a kill. Diamond players will do this 'properly'. Gold players will only know that they 'should' do this.

All that needs to be considered just for GANKS. There're tons of other factors to consider.

In high Elo (like, D1+), 'perfect Macro' will win every game. But in this mid elo where teammates won't do anything properly (ex. if you're ahead and your team is behind, you ask them to HOLD mid 4v5 while you solopush bot, and tell them to rotate to an objective if 2+ come to you, just for them to all die without doing any of that properly), Micro play is what really wins games.
