[Poll] Who do you pick into an all AD team comp as the top lane?

Who do you pick into an all AD team comp as the top lane, Malphite or Rammus? Maybe you'd pick another such as Garen or Sion, comment who please.

I recently had a game where the other teams first few picks were Tryndamere, Master Yi, and Jhin (Kallista and a Ve'koz support ended up rounding out there team). I wanted to pick Malphite Top Lane but he was banned out. I said what the heck and locked in Rammus.

Now before my first back and less so before my second back, the lane was a little rough as I couldn't come out on top during trades. Once I got a Sunfire Cape though a single taunt w combo would take tryndamere to about 1/3 health remaining while I'd only lost about 1/4 of mine, and I quickly began to have my way in lane.

In the bottom lane Kallista started feeding on my team. It got to the point where my team was so far pushed back they couldn;t get wards down for me to teleport to, so tower would have been my only option. Kallista and Vel'Koz soon were getting 3 for 0 whenever our jungler would try to gank, giving them complete dragon control.

We finally got a 5v5 teamfight, after I had Ninja Tabie, Sunfire, and Thornmail and we wiped the floor with them, 4 for 0 with the Jhin escaping. After that point they knew even though kallista was ahead and could 2v1 many members of our team, they couldn't win a team fight so Tryndamere or Master Yi, sometimes both at the same time started split pushing. I would be forced to back or teleport to stop the split push which almost always resulted in a kill for me. A few times I had to teleport to Yi pushing bottom lane, kill him, and then powerball to top lane to stop Tryndamere while the rest of my team pushed 4v3 up the middle. Eventually I caught out one of there team members and we pushed as 5 up the middle and won the game.

Now I know against a squishy team such as this Malphite would have likely stomped as well but without the movement speed of Rammus to be able to stop 2 split pushes at once, I don't know if his great teamfight ults would have been enough to get a win.

AND TO TOP IT ALL OFF, we had a Cassiopeia mid who got fed early off there Jhin (though she still couldn't compete much with Kallista, q's hard to hit with her jumping like that) and a Kog'maw who despite feeding, still pumped out the damage late game, and yet Rammus very nearly topped them both in damage dealt to champions with 0 damage items (Ninja Tabi, Sunfire, Thornmail, Dead Plate, Spirit Visage for Vel'koz, and starting to build and Randuin's Omen). Add that to his siege potential with his Ult and W tanking turrets and I think I may pick Rammus top a lot more.

So with all that said, who do you guys prefer to pick top lane when the other team is nearly all AD? Maybe you would pick another champion, Garen or Sion maybe, let me know who, with so many Zed mid picks this patch I think this question is becoming more and more applicable.

Malphite is a better laner than Rammus.

Skarner does incredibly against all-AD team comps, and you CAN get him to function in lane, though you'll probably need repeated ganks until you get your second item.

His passive was just an excuse to make his base stats terrible.

Not recommended, as Taric accomplishes nearly the same thing while being more sustained, better utility, and being able to make your squishies moderately tanky (upwards of 70 bonus armor late game). Downside is the enemy won't buy QSS as Taric.

An all AD team comp is doomed to die to a 600 armor tank with thornmail.... Simple as that. Generally, if you are trying to pick a tank, look at the individual champions that your team intends on and try to complement that.

Malphite simply because he can bully lane and waveclear while Rammus isn't a good lane bully (can't finish people off as easily) and has trash waveclear.

Malphite. He can stack full armor and still does decent damage. Late game his ult is amazing in team fights. In lane few ad champs can kill him.

Nunu The enemy top laner might as well afk in champ select. Transitions into a tanky, AP DPS, objective-securing behemoth later in the game. Dem ice balls hurt like a mofo and heavily fuck over AD champions.

Taric Gems. Passive armor aura. Point and click cc for days. More gems. Nigh-unkillable in the late game. Something something gems are outrageously OP against AD comps.
