Fix Suggestion for Lee Sin R and Q

Yaśuo Main··1 votes·383 views

**Lower **LeeSin ultimate **AD ratio really hard **and increase base damage by 75 or lower

Shift base damage from Q to E and bump up AD Ratio on Q

Remove Ward Hopping

_Buff Slow on E _ but reduce the slow duration

Buff Lee Sin shield with 20% AD scaling then remove his entire lifesteal/spellvamp

Completely remove his root and reduce cast time on R, then reduce knockback duration by speeding up how fast the enemy is knocked away

this would ultimately ruin his "dive + displace" niche. His focus into better scalings hurts his early game (what he's generally known for) more than I think you anticipate. The larger focus on scalings also ruin his ability to perform dives and fulfill his role because he can't be tanky like he usually is in higher elos.

Overall, this would be pretty bad for his identity and general gameplay. It seems like your trying to force him into an ad assassin role, in which Lee is not meant to be.

Also...removing ward hopping is a huge nerf that you gave no compensation for

I dislike these changes personally. I feel like he's fine as he is, with a 49.27% win rate despite 42% of his players having 200+ games of experience on him. The only reason people dislike Lee is because he's popular, and because he's popular they assume he's op, which isn't the case. That's just my feelings about him though.

Thanks, just wanted thoughts. I have no wish for Lee Sin to get these changes directly. However, I am just finding a way to make Lee's R not as weak as it is rank 1 and Q not as strong.

I was actually joking with the removal of ward hopping, and I thought that was obvious because everything I did with W just leaned to support Lee Sin.

It's tough to register sarcasm here on the boards (especially relating to lee sin) because there are people that think that'd be a good idea. There were tons of post about removing ward hops for lee around the time they did the same for Kat in her rework...I was facepalming the whole time.

It's funny how you want to increase his R's strength early, because that's pretty much the exact nerf that he got back when Lee was good. They lowered his ult's base damage and (maybe) increased it's ratio, to help offset his strength (because at the time, you could literally auto -> r -> q -> q and get a kill without being ahead) but that was when lethality was strong and mastery damage hadnt been nerfed yet, so maybe it'd be a worthwhile nerf reverse to consider.

As for his base stats vs. scalings in general, Lee Sin tends to have strong base stats with poor scaling because that's a tool that Riot used to try to force Lee's to be tanky late-game. It's their primary tool that Riot used in order to ensure his strong early game while guaranteeing a dropoff.
