No longer based on skill

I've been in games where literally NOBODY on my team gets a single kill. This has never happened to me before, and what it tells me is that the game is no longer based on skill. Now the game is based solely on what champions are op and who has the upper-hand in laning phase. The game is so incredibly snowbally that it feels like there's no room for comebacks against a winning team. Champions do so much damage it's overwhelming and gives less time for counterplay (which takes skill).

Losing feels hopeless and winning feels boring/non-challenging. Does anyone else share these feelings?

Most games are decided by early-mid game teamfights. Maybe it feels like that for you because you're never in them!! Try rotating and roaming more. Constantly staying in your lane past 10-15 min is really bad. Also if you're an Ahri main you should be the one who's helping your other lanes get kills.
