Why do Zoe and Myisha look so similar?

"Gold-blonde hair, like the men found in the cold north, spilled around her shoulders. Her features were youthful, but her eyes, one rich blue, the other twilight’s purple, held wisdom beyond her years. She wore thin silks, colorful and entirely unsuited to the desert, tied at the waist with a thin rope, from which hung a single golden key. A vivid pink scarf coiled around her neck, and she twisted its tasseled ends through her fingertips."

This is a description of Myisha in the story Twilight of the Gods, but anyone would assume this is Zoe. People insist that they are different characters, Myisha being the predecessor of Zoe, but if this is so then why do they look so similar?

What I don't understand is that this similarity is clearly intentional. Down to their long blond hair, clothes, youthful appearance, and blue/purple eyes. If Riot wanted to differentiate the two, they would have done so. There must be a reason! Any thoughts?

It might be the previous aspect of twilight and the aspect might simply change the appearance of its host to some extend.

Because she's Zoe's nobody, nobodies retain a similar appearance to their original form with their heart intact.

What confuses me most is the key Myisha carries. In an Ask Riot it was stated that the key is something Zoe picked up.

The key Zoe carries around was actually “borrowed” from another champion; you’ll notice it’s missing from his updated splash art.

So why does Myisha have it?

could be 2 things. 1- Myisha is Zoe 2. Myisha was the avatar for the trickster before Zoe,which does make sense because of the timeline but its possible (retcons)

Still waiting for more info! I guess being the host of the aspect of twilight changes your appearance a bit, that's why they have the same traits ? It was said that she is Zoe's predecessor by one of the lead editor [slayer-jinx-wink]

Because they're the Trickster, I believe Riot wanted it to be 'possibly Zoe, possibly not Zoe', and that they'll never answer this one (but good luck)

Zoe has a dark side. We saw it in her colour story. You can't deny it.

There's really no canon information on why they look so similar yet, but if I had to guess, being possessed by an aspect may warp your appearance.

So Twilight may have "reshaped" its hosts over the years. Or maybe it only possesses people that look that way in the first place? It's a Space Demigod, it's hard to decipher its motivations.

I think the Aspect might just have a type and young blondes with blue eyes are easy to trick people with. The Aspects don't physically change their hosts beyond small things like Diana's forehead brand and Zoe's purple eye.
