Picking Zyra into Leblanc

I'm having some tough time with this match up, actually. I've heard LeBlanc's actually a counter?

Her spitter + deadly spines would cause so much combined poke damage that it'd take me down to about half my health in a second. Especially if there's multiple plants. Forget a bout chaining her. That requires 3 seconds to proc her stun, and as LeBlanc, W+Q+E+W takes too long. Zyra would also spawn a spitter in the way of my chains, too. If She lands her ultimate, the combined burst damage from all her abilities wipes me.

Granted I'm not too experienced with LeBlanc, but I could not seem to dance around her abilities, because her plants and her E would always hit me, and the combined poke made it impossible to get within range of her. Especially since she was always kiting, growing spitters and keeping distance.
