It was one of my favorite games modes. URF is great in its own right, but Ascension...

I could and did play it for days.

Ascension was my favourite game mode.

I can't stand Dominion anymore after playing Ascension.

But god, please, if they reinstate it, don't give us another icon to earn by denying ascension to the other team. That was just straight toxic.

i honestly loved the icon aspect the most

some play for the fun of it, to shed the blood some play for the icon

you just CANNOT deny the icon Factor added a unique spice to the gamemode

i loved that game mode to.

Love how it was designed for everyone to have equal income and levels through out the game

That Honestly was the GOLDEN rule

it don't matter what you build, it don't matter what you do, no one is behind! it's honestly one of my favorites things in ascension by far

i also loved how you can trap someone in one of those circles, you and your team chase someone and BAM you reach the circle and everyone just laughs

i loved that so much

No reason it shouldn't; several gamemodes have come back.

Maybe, if you start asking in every single Riot post, you'll get it back.

I played Ascen-sion as old AP Sion just to be a greedy Ascension stealing Soon.

Needless to say, Kalista would be busted as shit with a good team around her.

If they do bring Ascension back, I have a sinking feeling they'll use it for "rework" some more Shurima related champions .-.

Game modes should be far more often.

LoL is super-stale game. We get new champions but in most cases we almost always play against similar teams. We got just 1 map that gets 99,999% of Riots attention. Game gets repetitive pretty damn fast...

Fyi guys, you might now know it, but HotS has about 8 maps. each has "special" thingy like we have Baron. It's hard to get bored.

I think Riot's being a little too cautious when it comes to generating maps. Their was at least 2 iterations of Magma chamber, neither of which got made. I recal the latter one was scraped because their was not much support from the 1v1 and 2v2 standoffs in snowdown showdown. (which the map would have basically replicated) But looking at the maps we already have, Riot really needs to better promote these maps. If TT had a YoloQ and not just Team 3v3s, or if Dominion had Any ranked Q at all, it would greatly increase interest in those modes.

The abyss is getting attention though. Bunch of items are being made available, new texture updates (check PBE) to make it more inline with the new SR. And Even a new summoner spell, based on the Legend of King Poro. So The game modes do reflect game choices.

The thing I liked about Accession is that it's 100% a different game, in the sense that your goal isn't to destroy the enemy nexus. But to basically fight each other in a death match while collecting relics and power ups.

They scrapped Magma Chamber because they compared the playtime of One for All (30-40 min game) to Snowdown Showdown (1v1,2v2 about 5 min games) and declared that people aren't interested in it enough.

Last time Abyss god any of Riots attention was when they wanted to sell winter skins.

Also by telling about HotS i meant Riot could create 5v5 maps with just different lanes etc. So we'd still play 5v5 yet tad different.

heroes is good, but there's some stuff in it that's gamebreaking. namely the shared experience. if a team gets 2 levels ahead, theres a very strong chance they're going to dominate the rest of the game with no risk of losing barring afks

Occams Raiser1 votes

I heard no one liked it. Most probably just want a pure deathmatch mode

people iddn't like it because riot put an icon in for having a perfect game. therefore a lot of people wanted a perfect game, and got extremely toxic/threw if they didn't get a perfect game.
