How about Ignite shreds resists instead of Exhaust

Ignite already applies grevious wounds, which hard counters and champions who rely on health sustain (Swain says howdy).

Seriously, this isn't a good idea. Think of what will happen.

Every support and midlaner will start taking ignite. Supports already take ignite every once in awhile, especially hard-engage supports like Leona who want an early kill for their adc so they ignite them to reduce the healing spell, making it easier for someone like Graves to land the final blow.

if anything, I'd rather have barrier get some buffs. Maybe the opposite of exhaust, where it boosts your defenses temporarily along with the shield. Something something.

Doesn't Ignite already deals true damage?

That would make a bit more sense, honestly.

Exhaust's slow/damage reduction is already really strong.
