people have a problem with stomps. but i believe baron encourages stomps

with baron how it is now. once a team gets a lead, you cant really facecheck the baron bushes blindly and if you do you just die more, then once a team gets a baron its such a massive powerup that its kinda over at that point

the baron buff should be much weaker imo, and then make baron itself weaker, so that way getting a baron isnt such a big powerboost anymore

sure there are those rare ultra stomps. but i feel most of the time the "stomp" is really just baron being so powerful and stupid that the winning team "gets baron" then its donezo

But if there wasnt baron buff people would just turtle in base till they catch up.

Baron is to force teams to engage on each other and do something other than stall and run. Without baron, losing teams would just turtle and farm at base unless so far behind that the enemy team can dive them with no fear at all.
