Everyone else lost their runes too, you know.

Also the precision tree gives you attack speed just for taking it, and you can get a lot more by certain choices within it.

He gained 9 armor and 8 AD, so he gets a boost there.

He'll likely take Precision (18% AS) as his primary Rune path.

He'll take Press the Attack or Lethal Tempo (guesses at the moment) for massive damage boosts against enemy champions.

He'll likely snag Alacrity, for 3% bonus AS and an extra 1.5% per champion or large monster kill, which puts him at 21% AS at game start and 36% AS at max stacks.

He may take Sudden Impact for free lethality after every Q, or Eyeball Collector for free AD from kills and ward kills.

I suspect he'll be fine, if not significantly stronger than he is now -- Lethal Tempo + Yi's true damage makes him TEAR through tanks, for example.
