Hardstuck G41 votes

I love Ashe, my team captain just gifted me a skin for her last night, and I can't wait to play it after school xD

Yasuo. Ive played countless games on him and I just never seem to be improving in my performance. I watch videos about how to play him, and try to do exactly the same things and yet a match that the video poster is in and wins against easily will just destroy me.

I love everything about Yasuos design and lore, and his kit is pretty fun to play with too, but ive had to shelve him because I just cant seem to get him down.

Be a good person. Don't play Yasuo

legionnaire991 votes

Why do you hate yas

Spaceman5pff1 votes

I hate 2k worth of free stats for pressing R that lasts for 15 (roughly can't remember exactly) seconds

I hate getting 2k worth of stats for 1300 (zeal) - if not more considering MS helps build flow EDIT: 4k stats for Pressing R when you have a zeal. [slayer-jinx-unamused]

I hate the idea of defensive rewards for doing nothing but walking about

I hate having 2 AOE crowd control effects on one of the most mobile champs in the game (Yasuo has more hard cc than Lee Sin guys)

Don't bother giving me low winrate stats. He is hard to play, and very flashy, thus has a large playerbase where very few people put time into mastering him. As such he NATURALLY has a low winrate. Making his winrate a completely useless measure of power.

Unlike Nautilus who saw both winrate and playrate spike at the same time, indicating a power issue. This is a result of him being braindead easy AND too strong. Whereas Yasuo is one of the more difficult champs, and too strong. His barrier to entry numerically masking his strength.

i know but he power has clear counterplay his E will go the same distens no matter if he next to the minion or at the top of the he has NO poke NO poke

Spaceman5pff1 votes

He has MINIMAL poke. Yes his poke is very gated but he has much more poke than Fizz.

Azir I've tried, i just cant.. Draven I'm awful at catching axes. When I'm moving I'm moving in a way to avoid skillshots, in a semi-random fashion, and going to a pre-determined position visible to the enemy (even if i am the one somewhat determining said position) is the opposite of what my brain says to do in a fight. Maybe one day i'll buy him just to improve, but at the moment he's one of my worst.

Ryze I cannot stand playing him at all. It doesn't help that every death feels so rewarding. I truly think that wanting to see Ryze die provides a mental barrier to ever learning him.

Swain is a close second I just cannot bring myself to enjoy his kit enough to learn it.

Azir It's not working. I keep losing so many games with him. Something always goes wrong when I want to play Azir. Sion He was alright before the nerfs, but now it's a chore to play him. He counterplays himself. TwistedFate Oh dear god.

Helmight1 votes

I actually play all three of these champions as mains xD. Took me a while to learn Azir and longer for TF, but practicing - and knowing that you're going to lose a whole lot - helps.

I don't think that Sion's in too bad of a spot, but he certainly feels more lackluster with the amount of mobility in the current meta. 'Course, with Kog'Maw making a comeback, maybe he'll see some time in the spotlight again.

I'd say janna- I just hate champs with no damage and no health, even with the disengage she has

Riven I usually play passively in the top lane, so when you are suppose to go all in lvl 2-3, I'm not used to that

Gangplank I really badly wanted to learn to play this guy well, I'm just not good with farming with barrels...

Spaceman5pff1 votes

I find success on GP by:

item 2033 start this and lasthit alot with Q. This ramps your gold income early. (as a bonus it keeps trial by fire up more often, which you can use to punish the enemy taking range creeps with autos.

Keep a barrel setup next to / behind you that you can use to -Speed boost yourself to get out of a gank -Refresh your passive if the enemy tries to fight you at your ranged creeps -Get an insta-chain barrel if you ever need it

I try to avoid barrel farming untill I have item 3078 (you can get cdr boots early if you like, but i like to endgame with swifties and use item 3508 to get my cdr up there) I like to run Grasp into low-sustain matchups Jax Riven MonkeyKing and the likes. This does allow for a more poke based early lane if situation calls for it. Outside of this i like Thunderlords.

First Ultgrade: Death's Daughter vs Fire at Will. I like Fire at Will. The damage boost hits more of the area and it is much more reliable than death's daughter. However if you think you can get a few kills off of the center hit (calling all Ziggs mains) then it could be worth, this is just my preference.

Teamfights: I like to look for flanks in most situations where I can get a barrel onto the backline. If the enemy has somewhat squishy divers: think Nocturne Rengar Yasuo Diana and the likes, i often opt to sit with my backline and be ready to pop a barrel on their face when they come in. This is particularly effective if you can pin them down with an ult as well.

Hope my wall helps! Sincerely: Not a Gangplank Main

ldsjm41 votes

I think something that may of been a problem with it was the fact that all of the recent games I played as Gangplank I was against Garen (I hate his passive...and his Q...and his R...and pretty much everything about him in general).

Thank you for taking some time to give me some tips!

Irelia

I honestly want those twenty minutes of my life back.

Assassins.

Yes, backline support is the only thing I'm really willing to play. Assassins are the polar opposites of that.

I can play most champions, but Rumble is extremely frustrating to use.

Kalista For some reason i can play lee sin, riven, ahri and other mechanically "challenging" champions pretty well but i just cannot get kalista down she feels so freaking awkward to play.

Every ADC except Corki and Ezreal.

Playing ranged aa champs just feels horrible to me, I don't know why.
