A Few Yorick Buffs That Would Make Him Much More Satisfying to Play

First off I'd like to thank Riot for the last round of Yorick changes; even though his ghouls do less damage early his ult cooldown feels much better after you get a second point in it. However, I think he's still in a position where he could use some buffs/changes to smooth out his gameplay. I don't think Yorick needs ALL of the buffs I'm suggesting in this post, but they would all make him more satisfying to play.

  • BUFF: Change Yorick's Q heal from a flat amount based on level to a heal based on Yorick's missing health .

Reasoning: Often, Yorick can't splitpush effectively because he's outperformed by most other duelists. Basing Yorick's Q heal on his missing health would give him the dueling power he needs to succeed as a splitpusher. To avoid making Yorick's healing too oppressive in laning phase with this change, I would also suggest reducing the heal on minions and increasing the heal on champions, similar to Renekton's Q heal.

  • BUFF: Allow Yorick's Q to apply to towers.

Reasoning: Despite being a "splitpushing fantasy" champion, Yorick doesn't actually deal much damage to structures. His kit has no attack speed steroids, triforce is the only attack speed item that Yorick often buys, and he doesn't have a low cooldown spell to quickly proc triforce's spellblade. Trundle's Q was recently changed to (once again) apply to towers for this exact same reasoning. In Yorick's new champion spotlight, you can even see that his Q did apply to towers in an earlier version.

  • BUFF: Allow Yorick to control the Maiden of the Mist using the R key like Tibbers, Daisy, Morde ghosts, etc.

Reasoning: I know this one gets mentioned all the time, but it's for good reason. I think every Yorick player has experienced the frustration of having the maiden start pushing down a lane when you just want her to follow you. This is probably the most unintuitive part of Yorick's kit, and I don't think there's a good reason to keep it this way.

Again, I don't think Yorick needs buffs that badly, but there are a number of elements in his gameplay that are either unintuitive or unsatisfying to use. Thanks for taking the time to read my suggestions, let me know what you think about them and/or what your thoughts are on Yorick in general!

Yoricks Q heal is good early but falls off a lot .Yorick doesnt need Q to apply to towers, his ghouls and ult attack turrets.

Being able to redirect ult to a empty location with e would be a nice tweak, but I dont think they should give full control over her. Sometimes you can stop maiden suiciding by e'ing golems but only at a small range.

An issue with the maiden is she can be lured under turrret with no minions there and completely wasted.
