So with full build malphite plus his passive, I managed to get my armor to 91%. But I also got randuin's omen passive, which is -20% damage from critical strikes. So if you're against a yasuo with 100% crit, and no armor penetration, does that mean he does 0 damage to you? o.O
Because your armor would be like 91% + 20%= 111% right, since it's multiplicative?

DragonShea1 votesStacking of buffs and debuffs in most cases go multiplicatively. When something gets reduced by 40% and 40% You don't 20% but 36%. 1 x(1-0.4) is 60% and 60% of 60 is 36%. It starts by using the biggest number then afterwards then takes what is left and divides that until all the the reducing effects are used. then you get the final number.
