I don't understand Ekko and his attractiveness to Summoners at all.

How on earth is this champion banned every game?

Any Ekko I see loses lane hard, feeds hard, and is utterly useless the entire game through, and I'm in high Platinum.

Why is this little kid banned every game? Only reason I could see is so your teammates don't pick him, and basically cause a free loss for your team.

This is an Azir-level of badness upon release.

Anytime I see Ekko unbanned - someone on my team is like "I HAVE TO PICK EKKO GUYS", has NO idea how to play him, has no ranked games with him or is like 0-3, then loses the game for us.

Please explain the psychological sensation that is this champion to me. summoner 3

its the ekko syndrome, the one on your team is terrible the one on the other team is godly Just like shaco

There's two reasons he's banned right now.

  1. People are scared of him. (This one is not what you're seeing, it's a lower elo thing)
  2. People don't want their team members to play him. (This is the one you're seeing)

And yet Azir was unbelievably overpowered on release, just everyone sucked at him.

You just ban Ekko on the off chance that someone on the other team will be decent with him.
