Red side having the same map view as Blue side

Whenever a game starts and I'm on the red side of the map I automatically cringe as for some UNKNOWN reason the map view in my opinion looks better from blue side. There were a few posts about this back in the day regarding this from which (I THINK) riot said they might implement this in the future so Im just wondering if this was accurate and is this even POSSIBLE?
