Rito, I was silver 1 and 2 win S4 I won 5 out of my 10 placements gets demoted 5 ranks. I duo's with my friend won 8 of 10 of his provisionals and he gets demoted from b1 to b2. You system is fucking broken. I know I am not the only one. Gold players are getting demoted to bronze and so are silver. Fuck you Rito seriously I stand by a lot of your game changing choices but no, fuck you and fuck your god damned system. Fucking broken as shit.
ScurvyNave4 votesWhats worse is that you now have diamonds, silvers, golds etc racing to get out of bronze so the matchmaking is even more fucked up. We have guys who are diamond going against true bronzes from season four or a bunch of silvers against Plats.
Honestly I think we should all quit ranked until this mess gets sorted out except I too wanna get out of the Bronze 5 they demoted me to. Even had 5 games with afks in my provisionals. The system is broken and so far no one from Riot has acknowledged it on the boards or even respond to any comments or explain why the system is so bad.

Honestly I admit I barely made it to Silver 5 last year mainly cause I started ranked halfway through the season. But the issue is that ranked is where you're supposed to fight people "the same skill level as you" not "the other people who got fucked by mmr and bad luck".
The system is broken True bronzes and silvers will be/are pissed about losing to so many diamonds and plats suddenly in the same league Riot keeps deleting posts by people complaining about the issue and don't respond/ communicate enough about the new season provisionals.

What is pissing people off is that all their hard work was thrown out the window only to have to do it again. "Why should I even bother if I just have to climb all over again." I say it is broken, that is just a colloquialism to suggest that I think it is unfair. so many people have the same problem, then my buddy win 7 for 10 gets promoted. goes from gold V to VI. Another reason why people are pissed is because the math isn't wrong or anything and yet so many people are feeling the same way. Even if I understand the math behind it, it still pisses me off.

I really think Riot labeling it as a soft reset is wrong. To me and many others its not a "soft" reset. Math aside, it really hit many people hard. I can't argue with the match, but I can argue with the logic behind the math.

zliplus1 votesna.op.gg estimates that your ranked games were around the 1100-1200 MMR range. That's just above the bronze/silver split, but you duo'd your games which meant you were prob matched a little above your own MMR. Bronze I/II seems right.

Slaaneshine1 votesAs I see it, the game will still have the player at a higher MMR, so you'll just win games to go back to where you'll belong anyway. That, or Riot has redone the formulas and changed how MMR placement works now. Either way, you can't judge something by the first issue. Play more games. See how the patterns emerge, as the placement matches have simply started the pattern.

I worked my ass off to get better and rise from b5 to b1, silver promos twice and lost both cause of afks every single time (won one game with an afk on my team). I win 6 of my promos with 2 afks in one lost game and another afk in another loss. Rise straight up to b2 promos, insta-loss because of feeders and EXTREME toxicity. I'm talkin 4 players shitting down my throat from the lobby like they're all sitting in the same room for NO REASON other than I guess they're all pissed at Riot too. No leashes, no ganks, no hooks from supps.....I'm support a Lucian who's first item is Homeguard Berks......2/7 w/l for the day cause of this kind of play. Now I don't believe I belong in gold.....but when S4 I duo with my buddy that I have a TON of more experience with and get him to S2 and I am stuck in Bronze hell MAINLY because of Riot and they're dropping all these players into my ELO........fuck off. You guys have RUINED this game now and need to do ANOTHER reset utilizing last seasons stats better instead of putting me up against players 10-15 tiers above me or with true b5 need to be banned asshats every single game.....get it together guys!!!!
