Why are resourceless champions resourceless?
Because it gives them a stronger early game.
Mana champions are gated early but stronger late after they have gained a couple mana/mana regen items or leveled past the point that their gating is effective.
Energy champs are gated throughout the entirety of the game and are typically based more on skill to keep their energy up than anything.
Resourceless champions are granted powerful early games and some pretty good snowball potential, but if you play smart and deny them kills early then you will eventually out scale them.
well rengar has his ferocity, kinda plays into his kit. a lot of them are lore related... rito has it set up so ninjas use energy, also vlad and mundo have blood/sadism themes going rumble has his lore thing, with it being a machine and machines overheat. aatrox blood theme again...
then you get wierd champs like yas and riven. no idea why for them.
