Why is it ok for Taliyah to be in such a sorry state?

Legitimate question. Why is it ok with Riot to leave a champ borderline useless to the point where its joked about by esports commentators?

haha and Taliyah is what brought you to this idea? :D Aatrox my man! Also, limited and resources and champions who've been in that state for a lot longer so they won't get to her first if her kit is troublesome to balance (idk if it is)

Ekko was weak for a long time. Then they made him a $20 skin and gave him supper buffs. Now he tanks more than any tank in the whole game as a assassin. Just wait when they get a good skin design they think will sell for $20 each for her she will become really strong too.

Because Riot overbuffed someone balanced to force them into LCS, and then nerfed them into trash after to kick them out to make room for their next champion.

You should be able to sell champions back to store so I can get the ip I wasted back.

Taliyah is definitely in a terrible state and this statement was reinforced in the /dev review over the last 6 champions released in the past year. Taliyah sees some shine mid game then falls off terribly late game. High risk, high reward and overall not worth having to exhibit that much higher gameplay than your opponent for the same results.
