Doesn't really matter if you came back, you are still putting your teams at a huge disadvantage.

Then why, regardless of number of times, does AFKing never results in a ban? Why does running down mid lane to die 40 times not result in a ban unless you do it 250+ times or are also "toxic" in chat?
Let's not kid ourselves. Rito only cares about those that are "toxic" in chat. Which, ironically, is the only one that I can control as a player. By hitting a simple mute button.

Either the system is flawed at finding feeders or people simply don't report. The toxic part doesn't make a difference since this guy fed consistently for 3 days straight and in the game I was in personally he was incredibly toxic. This was almost a year ago now and he seems to have never even skipped a beat.

Tickets sure seem to help though, I've had 2 accounts punished for admitting to boosting on the forums (this did take some months and only 1 account was banned, the other lost its ranked rewards) and a feeding rager banned who added me post game to tell me to go "slit your wrists you pathetic waste of air".

People report. The problem is that riot simple chooses to let this behavior slide. I reported a player, then sent in a ticket with a video of him running down mid lane. His match history showed that he did the same exact thing just about every game. Was he banned? No. And there is not 1 single reason you can have to justify his behavior or to argue that he does not deserve a permaban. They simple just do not punish it. Why? Because that's mean to do.

If you have internet problems that cause you to d/c every game, don't play. It's that simple. You're still screwing the rest of the team over because you are trying to play without the internet or computer to do so. There is no excuse for that. Also, it's not just bad internet. I submitted a support ticket with some guy that would literally go AFK every time his team gave up first blood. Said it in pregame lobby and did it when our teammate died. His match history shows the same exact thing every time his team dies first. What did the guy at support ticket tell me? That they don't ban players for AFKing, regardless of why/how often.

That's toxic chat. Toxic chat is punished, nothing else.
League of Legends has literally the shittiest online community that I've ever been apart of. Many people think it's the worst period. This is not news. The problem is that it will not get fixed until Riot decides to actually start addressing the issues, rather than just trying to throw chat bans on "toxic" players (even though there is a mute button?). It's that simple. I'm not defending toxicity, but it's literally the only negative thing in the game that you can change (by muting), and it is going to continue to happen if you don't try and address the causes of it. So bottom line is that if the SJWs want to continue to cry about toxicity, they are going to have to make changes. If they are not willing to make changes because it's mean to ban a trolling player, then toxicity is going to continue and they have no basis to complain about it. It's really that simple lol.

Probably trying to prove that you leave for a while and you deserve the low priority. You left for 9 minutes in one game and 15 minutes in another. Yea, it sucks. But if you keep leaving games, you’re ruining other people’s games. If you have DC problems, it’s on your end. If you can’t get it fixed, you’re responsible for your actions.

Even if it isn't on your end, you should do this to bring the problem to their attention so it can be fixed.

Snarflaz4 votesDoesn't matter if you lost connection or not, you still left the game. Your teammates will still be angry, and you'll still be set at a disadvantage. Dont expect riot to have mercy on you for losing connection. Honestly, the punishment for leaving the game should be even worse. You're still ruining the experience for the other 4 players on your team. This applies especially in ranked, where everyone is tryharding. The shit that will set them on tilt is if someone leaves the game for any reason.

I am very flustered by the fact i still got a 20 MIN penalty even AFTER i REJOINED the game. if they can code this game, they should be able to code a function that understands when i rejoin the game within 2 minutes and FINISH the game.
