Need help on picking mid laners
I realized I don't play mid that often, and wanted to get more experience on the lane.

, what are some mid laners that i'll have little trouble with?

Lux, Morgana and Annie would be good options.

Has obscene speed to dodge the ganks, long rang poke, a great stun...his ult is just amazing. Build him with something like a tear early, so he has unlimited mana for bombs...Zilean is really under rated, both as a mid or a utility. It is great practice for your skill shots as well 
I love ADC AD Varus on the bottom...but for the middle, AP Varus is a poke machine. He scales well with AP, and it really helps his W does % damage, so your auto attack is very strong. With the new mastery that gives you + 9% bonus damage from the bushes, that SUPER long range Q from Varus becomes maybe a little overpowered? If you land all your Q, you can poke anyone to death except maybe Ziggs. 
Takes a little practice, but if you can place yourself around your turret, and your personal turrets...I have survived 2 and 3 person ganks and gotten kills more than not. I love this guy even more on top! But in the middle, he is a true beast. Build.
