Need help on picking mid laners

I realized I don't play mid that often, and wanted to get more experience on the lane.

If i do okay with and , but feed with , what are some mid laners that i'll have little trouble with?

Lux, Morgana and Annie would be good options.

I agree with these picks. Annie could help you learn how to cs better. Morgana and Lux are also great at lane control.

Agreed, annie will always be good for new mid laners. Her q is free cs, and with her kit she can always have kill potential.

She also helps people get the idea of good positioning in lane.

Another mid I'd suggest for new mid laners is Kayle . Look at her kit and you'll understand why lel.

CAN be a good pick, but I wouldn't suggest especially if you're a new-ish player, simply because of how many skill shots he must land in order to have kill potential.

Veigar is a good mid if you can get a good stun off, but once again almost all of his abilities are skill shots :C.

Other mids I'd recommend - Ryze , TwistedFate (if you can learn him), Zilean , Fizz , and MAYBE Diana :).

Zilean Has obscene speed to dodge the ganks, long rang poke, a great stun...his ult is just amazing. Build him with something like a tear early, so he has unlimited mana for bombs...Zilean is really under rated, both as a mid or a utility. It is great practice for your skill shots as well item 3040 item 3151 item 3027

Varus I love ADC AD Varus on the bottom...but for the middle, AP Varus is a poke machine. He scales well with AP, and it really helps his W does % damage, so your auto attack is very strong. With the new mastery that gives you + 9% bonus damage from the bushes, that SUPER long range Q from Varus becomes maybe a little overpowered? If you land all your Q, you can poke anyone to death except maybe Ziggs. item 3040 item 3151 item 3100

Heimerdinger Takes a little practice, but if you can place yourself around your turret, and your personal turrets...I have survived 2 and 3 person ganks and gotten kills more than not. I love this guy even more on top! But in the middle, he is a true beast. Build. item 3116 item 3151 item 3165 as base items. You can ride Heimer easily in top or mid to high ELO. Just rush the Rylai.
