Liss is...terrible to play

Welp, this just happened in one of my games. It's bad enough that Liss is kind of forgotten until RIot finds a way to do something about her passive but i can't figure out if this is a bug with her W or Fizz's E. Fizz straight ignored the Root effect from my W but took damage anyway and then my entire combo just got thrown out the window because he ulted me and i was thrown into a defensive position.

The entire laning phase against FIzz, he would Q me first (no idea why) and i'd W him into my Q, from which he couldn't E out of. This problem literally occured this time and i have no idea why but it costed me this fight in a pretty big way. I'm not here to ask for my ELO back, just to post proof that some interaction here between Liss and Fizz might be a problem in certain circumstances.

Here's a second problem with (i believe) Sion, in the same game. https://gfycat.com/detailedimpassionedjay His Q has a bigger range than his indicator suggests or is it that Liss's hitbox also includes her ice particles she leaves behind when walking? I genuinely have no idea. I could argue that even if Sion didn't hit me, i'd still be dead due to not having Flash or my E (because i used it a few seconds before this clip on a dead Fizz) but still. It feels just as crappy when i was clearly out of range but Sion just decks me anyway.
