When will we be seeing Garen buffs Riot ? He has had a negative win rate for the past 5 patches..

lets forget the stats though, in general, Garen is legit one of the only champs to be considered trash in high elo...

You are actually putting your team at a disadvantage playing Garen the higher elo you are, no matter how good you may be at him..

You can just play Malphite, braindead champ mash your face on keyboard and get wins, save myself the hassle.

Why buff champs like Fiora and Gnar, when Garen is the clear champ that needs buffed..

Name 1 time you have seen a Garen been played in high elo, and its not just been to counter an immobile assassin.

I am all for this. Garen was included in the juggernaut update and was just left in a dirty ditch of mud afterwards =/. Sure the changes were exciting but hes no where close to competing with other options. He's relatively a troll pick because his emote spam is too strong XD

I've mained Garen for years, and while I'm not really happy with his current state a full on buff might be overkill. A few tweaks or quality of life changes should do the trick. He doesn't really need to be stronger after all, he just needs to not be such a pain to use.

When I play him, unless I'm against an obviously unknowledgable opponent, the game always feels like an uphill battle. I can't afford to make mistakes, where as I have difficulty punishing the mistakes of my opponents. If they can tone down this feeling, even without any direct buffs, that will be enough.

Why are you treating him like some high-skill cap champion? Garen is a simple champion. Point and click abilities and nothing except walking forward. He doesn't get played in high ELO because kiting (which is a fairly high level skill to learn) counters him as well as knowing how to counterbuild. He does absolutely nothing but physical damage except for that 1% chance he has where he could get up close and ult.

He gets countered too easily. Maybe I'm bias because I hate Garen but there are people in every game that are just not viable for pro/competitive play and in your case unfortunately Garen is one of them.

Because Garen isn't a healthy champion. If Garen were viable in high elo then it would make low elo Garen (which is where he shines) absolutely broken.

He doesn't need a buff he needs a change to his kit. People like him and yasuo and zed are hard to work with because their KIT is strong , not necessarily their damage. Buff garens spin or ult? He's perma banned. They need to change something about him, not tweak his numbers

I used to play him when I needed to win as he had no problem shutting down the midlaners people always manage to feed the hell out of early game.

For how easy Garen is to play he shouldn't be genuinely good.
