Why is stormraiders surge still not removed?

This mastery is actually the most bullshit of them all. There is nothing you can do to stop someone from proccing it. The cooldown is way too low and it fits perfectly with spam champs like Kennen and Riven that don't want you to be able to fight back.

But I guess its ok that one mastery makes champs that rely on a slow to stick to a target bad since it hasn't been changed yet.

As someone who primarily plays immobile champions I have only this to ask you; that makes you think Riot is actually interested in counterplay?

The introduction of Fresh Blood and Greenfather's Gift.

Clearly, some melee champions were capable of dealing with ranged champions in the laning phase through strategy and timing.

Riot sought to correct that.

you could.... build tanky?

wheres the statistic evidence it's a toxic mastery?

Stormraider's isn't even one that has ever been overpowered. If you want to have them not proc it, do something I like to call "outplaying" the opponent.

What kind of outplay involves not taking 100 damage? Playing a ranged top vs Darius? This is just a retarded post.

Stay out of range, use mobility spells, use range, use crowd control, hell you can even just get ahead in XP and it will make it harder for them to proc it. Outplaying doesn't just mean something like a Faker Cassiopeia 1v5.

And here I am wondering why you'd ever pick it over Thunderlord's. I mean, if you are dealing 30% of the enemy Champion's health, odds are good that with a few more attacks and a Thunderlord's procc you would be guaranteed a kill...?

Thunderlord's is an easier mastery to use on most champs and is better for trading on mages. Stormraider's scales better and snowballs better on nearly everybody.

That's weird. I never see it picked over Thunderlord's, even on Champions that could potentially benefit greatly from both such as Vayne.

I take it over thunderlord's on Riven. I either use stormraider's or fervor on her. On rengar I go stormraider's. On Viktor and Cassiopeia I go stormraider's if I'm against a lot of slows or low mobility champs. It's a very good mastery if you know how to use it, I just wouldn't go as far as saying it's OP though.

Try playing someone like Darius or Tryndamere against a Riven with stormraiders. There is no counterplay because you can't catch her and your only form of cc is made a joke by stormraiders proccing.

I've played the matchup on both sides. The matchup is decided on how well the Darius uses his E and how well Riven can dodge his Q.

You just outtrade her cause she has stormraider's and not a real damage keystone?

If rito is gonna nerf any keystone, its gonna thunder lords, not stormraiders
