New kit = new mechanics = low winrate

until people learn her you will see low results

{quoted} anyone got an idea?

Give it time. People need to learn how to work with the new abilities, new ratios, what builds, strategies, how and when to use her ult... Give her a minute. She just came out.

She has a pretty high skill cap now. Not everyone will be able to play her, just like a lot of people can't play Azir. But hey, I think she's fun, decently strong, and just absolutely adorable.

People need to figure out when and when not to use her ulti. I'd say that's the biggest accountability for low win rate, as her ulti can be a HUGE benefit to the enemy team if used incorrectly. Give it more time before you QQ.

Treat her like any newly released champion. The first batch of data never gives a really accurate picture.

Look at all the other data, like builds, masteries and runes: You see that they look pretty generic? I think it is highly probable that not many people did yet find a good way to play the new Poppy.

Especially since item 3742 was nerfed this patch...

Took me time to figure her out. Suffered a big losing streak over it, but I found some helpful advice and managed to improve my game with her.

This is her core.

item 3071 item 3025

Then you go straight tank with maybe one additional AD item.

For runes, I run Armor Pen reds and Quints for early damage against champions, Flat Armor Yellows, and Scaling MR Blues.

Masteries, I go 0/12/18

In Cunning...

Wanderer for reaching allies in time to help and returning to lane relatively quickly after shopping or dying. Assassin, no contest. Merciless is another obvious one. Dangerous Game, again...duh.

In Resolve

Unyielding is just slightly better than Recovery for a Tank with no self heals. Tough Skin to give you an edge in early engages against opponents. Runic Armor to make the most of your passive. Insight is just too OP not to take. Swiftness for the Tenacity and Slow Resist. And, finally, Grasp of the Undying for additional sustain and damage.

Summoner Spells I prefer are Ignite and Flash.

how about we wait at least 3~4 days since her release before we start calling anything?

Sohleks12/12/2015, 11:08:22 AM3 votes

She kicks AD top laners butt going straight armor. She's now a tanky base damage abuser champion which is the opposite of her old carry build. Her new utility spells also require one to be thoughtful and have good timing and positioning and aim. The utility parts of her kit are unique yet very potentially strong.

Building her offensively AD seems really crap tho. Overall really limp AD ratios considering ult disengages the enemy. Her W and shield scales with extra tankiness so not going tank seems doomed to be subpar

I actually think she's fine. She's drastically different, less of a independent character but brings some good stuff to the team. It's gonna take time for people to use this correctly.

Iceborn is really fun on her.

Maybe numbers could be tweaked still tho

Fair point it could be because people are new to poppy or are getting use to the new one from the old one or it could of course just be a coincidence.

Rush item 3025 against all ad top laners, and win. Personally I get item 3025 into a tanky hp item, then item 3053 and go full tank from there, no more offence is needed for a big burst on squishes.

People just building her wrong
