yellow wards are must haves on minimum 2 people as most people don't buy pinks in losing games the only person keeping vision would be your support and with 3 wards he can't light up anything ideally you would want 2 yellow 1 or 2 sweepers and 1 or 2 blues
He means the farsight Ward, which you get to upgrade to for free at level 9..
and he is right, 90% of people never upgrade.. and then try to blame jungle for lack of vision when your jungler should be running oracle lens..
