Autofill is contributing to one-sided games

I can't tell you how many times autofuck has forced a player on my team who doesn't support, or adc, to assume that role, and then feed/go on tilt.

It's even more difficult when they don't say anything, and so I can't even offer to take the role for them, and then later on they comment "I was autofilled lol, I don't normally play support."

As if the game didn't feel one-sided and coin-flippy enough, the terrible supports/adcs only make botlane snowballing for one team or the other even more prominent.

"swap me or i troll" when i meet autofilled support .. eventually i play a 4v5 game.

Funny they start saying that AFTER they fed the enemy, eh? What a puzzle. It's becoming a new excuse more than anything. In S5 we had to know ALL roles at least decently. Then S6 happened and suddenly no one can play the role.

That was supposed to be one of the benefits of the new system of choosing roles before you queue. The people who got support, wanted the role.

Even the people who "could" support, couldn't do it as well as a support main. And the people who tended to queue with the support role in the new system tended to be support mains, and so there was more balance in terms of support matchups.

riot overthinked the que times they arent so crazy big below diamond. the autofill is not needed if you're playing below diamond how u think about this case.

Riot clearly underestimated how much the majority of players hate to play as a support in LoL. Or they knew it and went with it anyway, hoping for the best and eventually almost reverted the system. Thankfully they found a way how to mitigate the issue at least a bit, so we can still pick a role and most of the time actually get it. I understand people complain about it, but it seems the majority doesn't understand that autofill itself is not the problem. It's a temporary (hopefully) bandage over a real problem.

I can still play 4 of 5 roles, I just reallllllllly fucking hate top. It just feels..... i dont know, so yea 4 of 5 isnt to bad.

You know, you don't have to play traditional supports or adc

you can play whatever you like, you are auto filled into a POSITION/ROLE So if i get autofilled bot i can just as easy pick malzahar instead of any of the adc's

If you cannot play a marksman don't pick one it really is that simple

if people on you team don't like it well, they can swap roles or dodge it's not really your problem

people make it their problem because they are close minded, just play what you can play and try to win that way

i can tell you right now i will have more succes playing sion bot then picking jinx and if you dont like it then swap me mid top or jungle if you don't want to swap lane then play a marksmen over there if you really feel like you need one

i get autofilled botlane fine, but i ain't playing a marksmen because i suck at playing them you don't like it? then fix it, ill swap with you or you play a makrsmen elsewhere

at least that is my take on the situation
