Seriously Riot!?!?!? Seriously?!? Akali is now useless. WHY?!?! WHY make a champion, a popular champion, this f-ing useless?!? She wasnt even a top tier champ BEFORE patch 10.3! There are plenty of champs with winrates 50% + with large ban rates, but no, you nerf AKALI for no damned reason! She was well balanced before patch 10.3. Now I can't even play her. She has barely any damage, her q uses so much energy that maybe you will hit a target 1 time with it which isn't enough to be even remotely scary. Her R is laughable. I hit ziggs with e q R-auto-R. It took half his health!. Other assassins are killing with 1 -3 hits! But akali, oh no, she has to be nerfed into the ground! Meanwhile talon is running around 1 shotting everyone with a 2 item burst! RIDICULOUS! Your balance team is a joke! They should all nbe fired. I;'m sure akali will get yet ANOTHER skin in the next patch too! You guys did exactly this last season. YOU DON'T LEARN!

Akali got hotfixed in less than a day. Her ult cooldown went down by 40 seconds at all ranks.

They basically reverted her last set of nerfs, and nerfed her how they should have in the first place.

Her thing has always been that she has a longer TTK than other assassins in exchange for more safety. The ability to turn invisible and hang around the middle of a teamfight is huge. She might not kill you in one rotation (until she's uber-fed) but unlike other assassins, she can stick around for two. That has always been Akali's playstyle.

Winrate has nothing to do with why Akali got nerfed. They are trying to reduce her pro play presence by taking away some of her safety. As she was, she was still blind-pickable into virtually everything and could flex between two lanes.

Akali isn’t balanceable. Until they flat out remove stuff from her kit she will be broken. You can cry all you want about it, but the fact that you aren’t a good akali doesn’t make her bad.

Because her kit is inherently unhealthy. Riot needs to take Akali to the drawing board again and start over.

Somehow they made a champion that is more broken than what they were pre rework.

I'm gonna be real with you.

That joke of a champion is only popular because she's so absurdly over the top. She was rocking absurd pick bans in high elo globally. It doesn't matter how many silvers tank her winrate, she still isn't fair.

The only reason she has a negative winrate in the first place is because she has amassed what I believe to be the absolute least skilled pool of players on a relatively high skill floor champion in League history.

The average platinum Akali player never ceases to amaze me with their absolute inability to properly play their champion. I main lane Kha'Zix and should absolutely be struggling against that overtuned mess of a top tier champion. However, I don't.

Yet, still, even when I have four times their KP and they're playing like an escaped test ape, the stars occasionally align and they effortlessly delete me. Why? Is it because an absolutely atrocious player suddenly learned advanced mechanics over a five minute period?

Or is it because they're on a champion so blatantly unfair that, even when they're hopelessly behind and have no chance of winning, they still pick up some zero counterplay scam kills because their champion offers every tool you could ever need and more to effectively play her role?

a 99% pick ban in pro play with a 65% win rate

Y'know, its really frustrating that you invest all this time into a champion. You learn them and get good with them, buy skins for them, and then Riot is like "HEY, F U man! I'm gonna smash your champion into the ground for no good reason!" . It's really frustrating. It takes away from the fun of the game.
