Deleted this game. Here's a quick why.
The snowball is out of control. The damage cant even be counter played. How a 4/8 teemo with mediocre farm can 2-3 shot me I'll never know. But what I do know is that this game is more frustrating than fun.
Matchmaking, I'll win like 6-10 games in a row. But as soon as my MMR starts getting decent you start giving me THE WORST teams you can find. You will give me people who average 8-15 deaths per game. Completely uncarriable teams and I will lose and lose and lose. This is why I can't get out of bronze. I know I know. Here come all the people to tell me I'm so bad right? Pretty hard to carry a team that gives up 20 deaths by 15 minutes. Instead of matching me with higher ELO players when my MMR spikes, you give me bad teams. It's consistent and I hate it. It is amazingly frustrating. It makes climbing in ranked almost impossible because you punish me for doing well.
Ranked system, Your ranked system is crap. The promo games consistently give you bad teams and prevent you from moving up. I don't know how many times I've lost my promos because of AFKs and trolls. There is nothing more frustrating than working to rank up, only to be knocked back by trolls. It completely ruins the game for me and makes it impossible to rank up. Basically to rank up out of bronze I would need to average 20 + kills per game very quickly, and be able to overcome my teammates feeding, afk, and trolling. That is a lot to ask. I mean look at my history. You will see bad games sure, but if you look at my teams they have each given up like 11 deaths. I probably died like 5 times trying to save them. But jeeze, they cant be helped. I don't know how many times i've been farming jg, at level 3 or 4 clearing as fast as possible and just watching all my teammates lose all 3 lanes. by the time I've hit level 5 my team will be like 0/10. What the heck can I even do for these people? Am I just supposed to 2 or 3 man all 3 lanes? They will then flame the jg (me) because they lost lane like it's my fault they dove a turret at level 2, and then again at level 3 and died both times to turret hits. I can't fix stupid. Even if I roll up and get a few good early ganks. As soon as I leave lane to continue farming they just die and die. They are so clueless. And then there are games where we kill all 5 of the enemies and my team just farms the jg and doesn't capture a single objective. You give me the most nub team ever! Team fights 5 v5 where at least one of my teammates is auto-ing minions! Galio that refuses to use his ulty in a 5v 5 because he is "saving it". AAAAAAH! Teams that just charge at any enemy on the map with no consideration of strategy or vision or anything. People who utterly REFUSE to ward. they just won't do it. But they WILL try to farm the enemy jg, chase enemies, or solo push and die repeatedly with no vision. AAAAH! Stop pairing me with these people! Goddamn! I ping and ping and ping. They die and die and die! I mean come on!
Additionally, your soft reset every season is garbage! What is the point of winning 8/10 placement games if you are just going to put me in bronze?!?!? My silver account was placed in bronze 1! Why even play the games? Just demote me right away and save me the frustration! You need to do a hard reset! I win my promo's vs silver and gold players and get placed bronze! Like come on! You think backwards! I should be placed higher and allowed to fall if I can't hack it. Not placed lower and expected to climb against all the trolls, afk, and nubs in low ELO. That is nearly damned impossible!
Now we have infinite levels raise the level requirement for ranked. Raise it to like 50! Get rid of all the newbies and trolls in ranked.
Now we have infinite levels match make me with people my own level! Maybe this will alleviate the skill and experience gaps within games that your crappy ranked system does not.
patch 7.22 is awful
At first I liked playing with the new runes. I made some pretty good rune pages for lux and zed. However, once people figured out the rune pages the damage was ridiculous. My fav. champion akali was suddenly useless because she no longer had enough resistance to take lane poke and is now easy to poke out of lane. Champions I once could easily beat with akali like Vel koz now can take 50% of my health at level 2 with 1 attack. Orianna has been there all season, but now so is every champion it seems. The damage is waaaaaay too high in this game. Miss fortune just spams her balls drop slow ability and forces me out of lane bot. The range on that ability is really far and the cooldown is low, and now the damage actually pushes me out of lane. Before it was an annoying slow that did a little damage. The same problem with gangplank. He just spams his gunshot and pushes you out of lane. He could never do this before. The Teemo 2 shot is real. This game is not enjoyable anymore. There is no counter play. It's whomever picks the most meta snow-bally champ, or gets a couple kills ahead wins. These new runes are terrible. You didn't fix any balance problems. You made them worse. All you did was change which champs are out of control and cause other ones to be garbage. Did you even play-test these changes?
The blue essence change is a joke. I could have tolerated this because I am a long time player and basically own the things I want already. But seriously riot? You must have let the bean counters make that decision. An obvious attempt to force people spend money. It's a crappy system, and if you don't fix it quickly it will ultimately be the undoing of this game.
Since patch 7.22 I get lag spikes. I checked my web connection at www.speedtest.net and found my ping was 29. My ping in game was anywhere from 44 -3000! I don't know what this is about, but it is the final straw. I deleted this game. It's no longer fun. I'm still irritated about my last game where my connection again got mysteriously bad mid game.
