I never played Jayce, only fought against it and seen videos. Explain something to me.

Why is Tear not built anymore?

I love Gameplay where you get downvoted for a question. This is why I don't post in this trash ass sub anymore. for those who answered, ty.

I'm guessing it is the power spike timing. Tear delays your spike a lot. That combined with the power of Flat Armor Penetration atm.

Will he be having his build changed back to having a tear when "Lethality" comes up in the preseason?

I'm not sure.

He doesn't need the mana as much as he used too

In one of the latest patches he got mana cost reduction pn what he uses most which means Tear isn't always needed.

IIRC, the only cost reduction was to his Hammer-form E (which was maxed last anyways).

That 20 extra AD after the first back is often the difference between 1 shotting your lane opponent and them getting away, and thus the difference between snowballing and now snowballing.

Because not going tear gives you far more all-in potential, allowing you to constantly trade and duel, pretty much always coming out ahead, esp vs most melees.

As long as you don't spam Q, your mana isn't an issue. Outside of Q, his mana costs are absurdly low.
