Has anyone ever wondered why Jinx is such a monster that can pretty much destroy your entire team from range with little to no danger to her person?

  • Is it because of her massive amount of damage? Maybe.
  • Or is it the fact that she has a hella lot of range with her auto attacks? That might be why, right?
  • Maybe it's because she can "literally" counter you with one single item item 3140? That sure as hell looks like a good reason why she would be a monster.

Well, the truth is, it's none of the above. The real reason why Jinx is such a monster is because of everything she has as a whole. Damage, Range, possibility to counter with one item and... the safety of another player watching over her.

The Lulu standing by her side that you completely ignored because you were too busy fuming at being powerless against Jinx.

  • Did you think about the heals and shields that negated the majority of your damage?
  • What about the peels and CC that stopped you in your track, preventing you from even reaching her?
  • How about "literally" getting countered by one - single - item item 3222.
  • And maybe, just maybe, you forgot about the steroïds Lulu gave to Jinx?

So really, what really does makes Jinx in such a monster that devour your entire team in but a few rockets? Everything. Including the support by her side who can and will make you into a completely useless squirrel while making her into the 8 feet tall monster firing giant rockets at your team.

What am I trying to get at here you ask? Well simply that you should probably stop looking only at one side of the coin.

The game may not be perfectly balanced, some Marksman are decidedly disgusting, but this is true for any champion class. Rengar is disgusting, Syndra is a ..., Zac is abusing Courage of the Colossus, Teemo is Teemo, etc.

And before you cast your angry downvotes upon me for my opinion, I too, just like you, hate Vayne in this pre-season. I too believe she is broken as F without pink wards to deny her ult. And you know what? I made it a point to always ban Jhin everytime I have the chance to do so, for I hate that champion more than I hate Happy Elf Teemo (And that is saying a lot).

But really, this whole circlejerk of hate around every Marksman is more annoying than Ezreal's Q spam. I don't play Marksman, shit, I'm the one stuck with supporting those bastards. But at least, I take the time to understand what makes them what they are instead of blindly calling bullshit on how OP it is to auto attack everything to 0 HP from range.

I'm not here to debate, post what you think or why I'm an idiot if you want, I'm not gonna argue over anything here.

It's the people that think every ADC is OP and every ADC main should be demoted to bronze 5 (semi-exageration) that make me mad. Like yes Vayne is OP. But that doesn't mean you need to go circlejerk around gutting every ADC until you can play your Garen ADC bot lane. That's not how it works.

Edit: Case in point. The circlejerk around how ADC's shouldn't be what they've been for 6 seasons just so people can play their main as an ADC is really stupid. It's been this way for 6 seasons, it isn't going anywhere.

ADC's were balanced until they started introducing new game mechanics with every new champ and rework. They were the one role that fit well and had very little issues, then Riot decided they needed to create some gimmicks to boost RP sales and bam, adc's are a complete mess, vayne and jinx with kog maw and kalista at the other end. Sivir being made unviable immediately after a complete rework. etc.
