Is there a point playing syndra anymore?

I mean what can she do that other mid laners can't at this point? Most mids can one shot squishies, the vast majority of them has a stun or hard cc, syndra's poke is lackluster compared to other champs, I just feel like she could use some tweaks here and there so there is a reason to pick syndra other than just enjoying the champion
