Why did he get buffed? He might have been weak in challenger but anywhere below high diamond he has replaced yasuo as one of the strongest mid laners as well as sporting a 50% ban rate which is rising, showing how obnoxious this champion is to play against.
Please Riot, I only play ranked now to avoid decay, don't make me quit normals too because stupid champs (yas, riven, jax, now zed) do stupid damage
It was "compensation" for removing the passive AD bonus he gains from his ult.
Assassin's shouldn't even be that good high up. They rely on picking people out of position, where people higher up shouldnt be. Constantly buffing them when they aren't good higher up just causes issues down lower where theyre already unfun to play against.
they should update him to include a delay in his burst and increase his skill floor
Why do you call something a buff when its not a buff and id even go as far as to call it a small nerf. His w changes were slice of life changes. He gained 10 dmg plus 10 percent of his ad on his Q which would be at best 40 ad overall 50 ad increase on his Q. He lost 15% of the ad he gained with his ult which on a 200 ad carry that would be 30 ad for his Q that would mean 27 dmg so he gained 23 dmg on his q to compensate for the loss of at least 30 ad on all his auto attacks and E. How is this a buff in your opinion????

He deserved the W buffs and (AS) deal with it.
And lastly the same thing happened with Neeko and then she was at 43% winrate after a instant nerf from complains from 50% and players wanted to try something stronger like adc on her with Zed you cant try anything else lol please cut the bs he was already very weak for a year already.
P.S i have 0 problems versus Zed and i play without armor on ranked for fun cause ranked is horrible the state it is right now. ;)
They should force him to wait until he gets a kill to snap back to his ult shadow. :/ make the braindeads that play him have to think a tiny bit.
He was terrible early game and GREAT late game they wanted to change that. And his w range needed to be updated it felt clunky.
They update with high ranking players (Master's and above) but you are right i dont feel he needed a buff
