Defiant Dance (W) Damage reduction increased from 40% to 50% [Changed Effect] damage reduction now specifies Physical damage I have nothing against nerfing Irelia, but nerfing her only on mid which isn't her best role is a change which won't have a positive impact to anyone. I guess it's because she's being played only top in LC$ so they want to enforce her top only to soloq as well, but I might be wrong about that.

what about removing disarm which is special only for irelia that makes her unique. its like removing ornns unstoppable (which they gave back) its not the same champ anymore.

They don't want her going mid which is why they are changing it to physical only. At least it won't be too bad for most of her top lane matchups considering the damage reduction is getting buffed against physical damage.
