My opinions and tips for ranked flex 3v3
Hi pals :D
I've been playing league for a couple of years now, and TT has definitely been my favorite mode of them all. I love the constant sense of danger created by the lack of vision, the altar objective control, the shorter game length, and the looser meta. I was disappointed to find that I couldn't climb the ladder on TT instead of SR, and ended up just grinding in the 'ol fashioned 5v5 mode. The introduction of flex TT has probably been my favorite addition to league besides crafting. I've played a higher number of games on TT than the average player likely has, so I figured I'd share some tips for players hoping to tackle the new ranked que.

Having a jungler, while not required for all strategies, is typically the most effective lane set up. 1-1-1. This makes sure everyone gets a good share of the experience and gold on the map if you don't have a symbiotic duo lane planned. The TT jungler is also FAR more dangerous than the SR jungler, as wards don't exist.

Please take it seriously..... If you want to fk around on TT, just do normals lol. While TT, like aram, is often seen as a blowoff que, a ranked que is a ranked que. Ranked ques are meant to be taken seriously, and even if you don't think TT is that important, others in your games might have real aspirations and hopes for ranked 3's.

2 fighters and a mage is the most commonly effective set up i've seen on TT, and the closest thing resembling a meta. If you are unsure what strategy to use in your game, this is a good default.

Ban these champions:
. Perma ban them. Both
and
will essentially always have a wall close enough behind you for a stun, and if not, they can easily maneuver to put one there. TT is a small map to terrain is constantly surrounding you.
WILL RAPE EVERYONE WITH HIS ULT, RUN FOR THE HILLS. No seriously, there is no winning a 3v3 teamfight against a kennen. -
Get the altars lol. The altars are almost like a minigame objective, providing buffs based on the number you control (0-2). Important things to know about altars are that they can be contested by the enemy entering the circle or damaging you. Controlled altars will reveal the opposing team. Stepping on an altar then recalling will let you capture it, and zip immediately to base.

MAP AWARENESS. As I've mentioned before, there are no wards or vision of any kind on TT. You can be ambushed from many points and roams are quick. Keep. An Eye. On the map. Watch to see enemies leave their lanes, speculate where the jungler is, ping. Because the map is so small, enemies can cross is incredibly fast. Your allies might not be able to warn you in adequate time, so look out for yourself.

HOLD YOUR TRINKET. I can't tell you how many time's I've seen people completely waste their puff of valuable vision on this dark map, then ambushed and murdered them. Being your only source of safety, don't randomly throw it out without good reason to suspect you'll reveal a threat. You can also use it to make sure the area is clear to hide in, then wait to assassinate. The trinket can disable invis traps too, not just champs.
8.Here are some powerful TT champs excluding
.
: One of my personal favorites and a TT goto. Vel has long range which provides valuable safety for a squishy mage on TT. He has high kill potential with his combos, good poke, can cs easy, even if zoned, can rip through tanks, self peel, you name it. excellent teamfighter but also has good split potential on TT.

: High kill pressure with the potential to snowball the game very early and end. Brand has always been a scary early game matchup, but typically falls in oppressiveness late game. TT gives brand the oppurtunity to ignore this downfall and dominate relentlessly.
: The map is small so she's hard to avoid, and she can wall off pathways to stop ganks and jail people. good altar defender.
: Early game powerhouse, same thing as brand.
: it's ekko, where isn't this highly mobile, high damage, yet still tanky sob good????? His bubble is more deadly on TT due to it's long range on a small map.
:No wards, lots of walls. Fiddle's TT jungling wasn't hit at all by the SR jungle changes (raptors and krugs) so he's still powerful.
: The ult catch potential is bs, and you have traps, the most valauble asset on TT.
:Traps.....
:Range, self peel, strong seige, ult executes. His passive is very strong for quick pushes combined with his wave clear.
: Seeds act as vision. the tight space gives her more concentrated control with her plants. The ult is huge + small area = get rekt m8
:Traps and a dangerous assassin on a wardless map? rip.
: Scary snowball potential with strong split. If she gets going, it's hard to send 2/3 or 3/3 people to stop 1 person. Plus she might 1v3 then proceed to take 2 towers.

I ALMOST FORGOT, STAY AWAY FROM VELMA!!!! For all you plebs, velma is vilemaw, the baron nashor of TT. Vilemaw hurts a low more tho, and she should be taken with high caution. Velma also has a web attack, spewing web and dragging all those hit back into her clutches, this can keep you from running from her should you mistakenly attempt her and end up being too weak. Try not to hit velma while escaping through her lair, or she might pull you and your pursuer together.
