Been taking amumu since they are both late game gods who start being able to really gank at 6. Basically it lets me match him all game (plus a little cc never hurts). Are there any other junglers who would work better in this match-up?

Scales just as hard as Yi, can block his attacks and stun him. Gets banned a lot though.
Good for ganking, tanky, mobile, and can disrupt Yi's rampage

If the enemy Jungler knows how to counter jungle, I perma cringe all game playing against Shaco and Rengar.
The more proactive your Jungler is, the better, imo.
Gragas if you land the slam and ult. generally hard cc but you must wait until he alpha strikes first then cc him
destroys him early, mid and late game. There is nothing Yi can do against Rammus. Build tanky? lol Rammus outsustains you and outdamages you in teamfights while making you useless by forcing you to attack him. Build glass? lol Rammus taunts you and you are dead before you can react with QSS.

once it gets to late game yi will stomp panth. Generally I go with fiddle, fear so he'd run toward the direction of tomorrow when he uses ult. If he q'd to your adc then a 2.25s fear allows adc to either run or kill him. If he starts healing you have silence for it. And I'm also talking about worst case scenario when yi already manages to dive you - when you play fiddle you want complete vision control and be the one to engage instead of being engaged upon most of the time.
For early game, you want junglers like Lee sin, Elise, and Jax who can outtrade him in jungle and counterjungle him thus denying him sated stacks, for late game, champions like Amumu and Malphite go a long way, that mofo ain't tanky, CC him and pop him.
