Giving up your main
DON'T DO IT!!! I had a game earlier where I gave up Ziggs bot to our midlaner who went 3-11 while I failed on a champion I'm worse at. Always always always always play what you're best at.

Risk of Fate1 votesSometimes you gotta. I wasn't one to believe in meta slavery and all that, but when I used to main Lux, Yasuo, Katarina, and Zed came into popularity. Needless to say, I couldn't do much no matter how well I played because they countered me early that I couldn't get going mid to late.
If you can play through the changes, more power to you (I've done it on Ahri, but she's an exception to the rule yet she's had hard times such as the changes to Hexdrinker and Maw).
