Blinds - How to fix them.

As an avid Quinn player, I find that the two blinds that exist in the game are incredibly unreliable and lackluster, but are incredibly technical as a form of CC. Since only two champions have a blind, and one of them is satan himself (), I fear that Riot will likely move toward removing blind as a form of cc from the game. Assuming that such is not the case...

The things that make a blind unreliable are the travel time of the projectiles and the calculation of the duration when compared against the target champions attack speed and animation. Even though blinds were coded to be made more reliable a few patches back, I find that they're still incredibly inconsistent.

My proposed change: Do not make the blind a duration; instead, make either skill cause/debuff the next 1/1/2/2/3 enemy target autoattacks to miss or deal 0 damage, with the debuff expiring after 2-3s.

Thoughts?

Yes. I find it funny how I can get blinded by Teemo yet the damage of that skill is more unnerving than the actual CC.

I figure the two champions with blinds are known as lane bullies anyway, and if they were to max their blind first with the proposed change, it would just enforce that identity. It's not like counterpicks for Quinn and Teemo don't exist.

Also, I figure that it's balanced in that attack speed scales with game duration. Therefore, 1.5s of blind (as is) on an ADC with about 1.7 attack speed is about the same as what I've proposed above, just made more reliable instead of doing guesswork and hoping that inconsistent, uncontrollable times make for good outplays.

Well I hate Teemo as much as the next guy, but his Q is a HUGE resource for his survival. If they took away his blind, then every Teemo main in the world would spam Riot with angry emails, spam the boards, etc. And what would they possibly add to Teemo instead of a blind? It's kinda just goes with his character. He's an asshole who ruins everyone's day

Nothing else on his Q would even work well, at least not without causing more commotion and bitching. His shrooms already slow, so they couldn't do that. It'd be too OP. They couldn't add a stun. Too OP. I guess maybe a silence could work, but then people would still be bitching about him not being the same

And what would even be the point of making it an amount of autoattacks and not a duration? That'd be even worse imo. With a duration, it doesn't matter how fast your attack speed is, you can't hit shit until it's over, and that's that

With an amount of autoattacks, the more attack speed you have, the better it is for you. Of course it'd be terrible for champs like LeeSin , Tryndamere , and Aatrox , for example, but champs like Kalista and Ashe would barely have a problem with it at all. It'd be totally unfair.

I think blinds are totally ok. They're a legit form of CC, and only two champs even have it, so it's not that big of a problem. I know this thread isn't about Teemo, but the problem with him is his entire kit, not just the blind

And Quinn is just OP in general, but it's not just her blind either
