Pyke isn't a support like I hoped he would be

Pyke at best is a good jungler or even top laner. From seeing his kit in the teaser it seems as though jungle and top is going to be where he will be best played. Jungle potentially being the better of the two just because of your ultimate.

Sure you can still take him support, but you're making yourself weak for no reason. You can't really build into anything good either way. You're going to be forced to build a standard bruiser build unless all of your abilities scale off anything outside of traditional AP/AD.

You still can't really justify his Q as a hook because even Kled's is better and he's not a support. Heck, even Kled functions better as a support than Pyke and he was made to be a top laner. You can take almost any top laner as support and function far better than Pyke just because you have a gap closer and some form of heavy cc.

I don't really see Pyke support working at all unless it's just meant to be a kill lane. Even with that there are better kill lanes too. Unless you're going to do something like run Glacial Augment and then build into Righteous, Randuims, and Shurelya's. I honestly don't see you being an actual support as Pyke unless you do something like so.

Long story short, this is basically like trying to take red Kayn bot lane, while building full lethality, and saying that you're support. Still the funny thing is doing so would probably yield better results than playing Pyke bot lane.
