Moments later you get the notification that they're penalized. Hopefully the player got perma banned too. Being toxic on the PBE is just too much.

honestly the report u get back for reporting toxic players should tell you what type of punishment they get.

hmm that is iffy cuz it might encourage bogus reports out of spite for being salty in game cuz you know a player will get X punishment

yea but it just feels satisfying enough to know someone who is extremely toxic actually gets punished.

I'm guessing it's not done for privacy reasons.

whats better is when that toxic player comes on the boards to argue their perma ban and then their post get deleted for being toxic

I've never recieved this even for reporting the worst of toxic feeders.

Almost everyone in that game reported the toxic player. The guy was incredibly toxic told people to go afk after dying once. Called us braindead because he didn't know how to play the new jungle and put us behind in lane early game. Called him out on his mistakes says lagg lol. Sometimes it feels like it only works if more than enough people report said player(s) but not everyone will report even if they are super toxic.

One report is enough to flag a game for (automated) review. Multiple shouldn't actually do any difference at all.

I mean just one complaint I fell like it's generally overlooked but if more than enough people do it then it should put more attention to it.

You only get it if they get immediately punished right after the game you reported them for. If you report them, but its not enough to ban, then they do it in another game, get reported again, and then punished, you won't hear anything about it. Your report still helped it escalate into a punishment though, because the system takes a history of toxicity into account.
