Better to Stick on One Side of The Vs Event?
Is it better to be on one side and earn token for it or switch icon and go to the other each day for both type of token?

Better for what?
If you want a particular side to win, it's certainly better to support the same side throughout.
If you want particular rewards, then keep in mind that (assuming you're haven't bought tokens or the passes) so far it appears theres only 280 potential 'free' tokens, so if you want the 280 reward (icon+border) for one side it looks like you need to support the same side throughout. On the other hand, if you want the 140 orb reward you could go back and forth and get it for both sides. (Similar reasoning for the other lesser rewards.)
You're limited to one side per day though, so 20 tokens of a single type per day (assuming token rewards remain consistent).
