Frustrated I can't click on Thresh's lantern if someone walks on top of it

Ever since Thresh's release, an enemy champion has been able to walk on top of Thresh's lantern and deny someone from clicking on it to escape.

I just played a game where I died 3 times in a row because I could not click on the lantern.

I logged off right after this game because I was so frustrated.

Please allow Thresh's lantern to exist on a layer on top of all other in-game elements. It's silly that a large enemy champion can just step on top of the lantern and stop someone from using it.
