I know that it's hard, but the grade system needs to be made better

I was the Garen in this game (http://matchhistory.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/#match-details/NA1/2360413344/210298355?tab=overview) and got an A. Skarner was a friend and got an A+. I get that S's are for really, really good games, and even if one's KDA ratio appears good other secondary stats can explain it, but I don't see that here, and honestly feel a little cheated. I'm aware that it's an automated system, but I feel it needs to be stepped up.

Even with support, I often get S's for my almost perfect games, and A's for where I do everything wonderfully.

EDIT: Added link so that it makes more sense. Apparently I didn't add it in the original post? I don't know these boards very well.

2ND EDIT: Another, more egregious example. (http://matchhistory.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/#match-details/NA1/2366177749/210298355) I, Anivia got a B+. Nautilus &Jhin got S's.

if you want an S you need to snowball, destroy or deal damage to most towers, need really good cs, and need to ward alot.

I went around 12/2/8 on MF with the second highest cs, and got an A+. Never gonna get Mastery 7 with her :/

I agree, the grading system needs to be improved. I've been a Nocturne JG main for a couple months now, and several games I have had KDAs such as 20-2-8 with over 70% Kill Participation, and gotten a B- But I've also had games that are the opposite kind of stupid. I've gone 5-7-6 with very low CS as KogMaw ADC and gotten an S- Like WTF, I've been trying for even 1 single S rank on Nocturne for over 3 months now and still haven't gotten it no matter how well I do, even in games where I've gotten multiple Penta-Kills (as Nocturne JG) the best I seem to be able to get is an A-

Just to clarify, grades are percentile, but I also feel this needs to be figured out too. Making them percentile removes lots and lots and lots of really stupid cases (Gee wiz, that Tristana did above average damage to towers for an adc? Give her an S!) At the same time, it's really annoying for people who play easier champions, because even if they excel, it doesn't count. In another case, as in another comment, Kog'maw is played by a fair amount of people who have no idea what they're doing, so he's easy to get an S on for a competent Kog'maw.

I really want to congratulate Riot for getting as close as they did to the reality (5 positions*133 champions is 665 cases they need to apply an objective measure to a largely subjective idea, not counting builds), but there is so much left to be done.
