snowball is the worse thing to happen to aram

Aram is a lot less fun ever since the inclusion of snowball. Even with the increased cd and reduced damage its still taken by champs that don't even want to be in melee range. Adcs and mages that wanted to be at range are taking (for reasons i don't know). Champs with gap closers benefit more so than those without using it to get close enough to their target and then use their own gap closer to get the main target. Teammates catch them like its their job and bring it into the middle of the team only screwing over not only themselves but everyone around them.

I never thought snowball was needed. Once a tower goes down there's more than enough room for no gap closer champs to do their thing if they are willing to commit. Snowball removes any commitment and is sometimes used as a zoning tool. And you can't even damage a person in transit because they are intangible.

Probably worst of all is its a small white ball, with a long range and somewhat generous hitbox on a map that has white particles everywhere and is in constant chaos.

If you have ever played Udyr on ARAM you will understand the desperate need for the snowball.

As the guy below me has said... some champs desperately need it. Along with Udyr I can quickly think of Trundle .

I generally think of the snowball as a noob trap because so many people pick it with champions that don't really need it. I roll summoner 6 summoner 4 with distortion boots in about 80% of my aram games and I've come to find that it generally works so much better.
