Shyvana, a champion that deserves an update
If you couldn't tell from the title, this is about the half-dragon champion, Shyvana. This champion has been around for quite a long time (Released on November 1st, 2011 to be exact). Basically when the game just started up. This champion deserves at least a Visual Update or revamp (Revamp is what I consider using an existing concept and just emphasizing on that concept i.e. Shen).
"What about other champions that needs a rework or such like Mordekaiser, Wukong, etc.?" Those champions have been at least given news from Riot themselves about attempting to rework them in the near future.
Shyvana, however, have been given no news at all that is recent or perhaps this season. I don't think I even heard or seen any major discussion about Shyvana on the Boards in such a long time.
"Why do you even care about Shyvana?" Shyvana has been one of my favorite champions ever since I played this game. As much as I don't play her, I still love her as a champion from a personality standpoint. She has this cold-hearted yet ferocious attitude akin to what she is which is being a half dragon. She doesn't per say has a hatred towards anyone (in my opinion, mind you), she doesn't like to be approached. Or that she has a minor inferiority complex about dragons not being feared as they should be. Either way though, I love that kind of attitude/personality in a champion.
"But you're not even talking about her gameplay/kit." Now this is where a problem lies with this champion. Their gameplay/playstyle is rather lackluster. I'm not even going in-depth about that as it should be obvious that her kit is very much left to be desired. I will say this though, if they ever update, rework, or whatever they do to Shyvana, I honestly want them to emphasize on that attitude/personality along the lines of "You bite me, I'll bite back harder" (literally).
So now reach the end of this rather probably useless discussion about a champion that almost no one even cares about anymore. There are a "few" more things I would like to discuss before this discussion truly ends.
Her kit does need to be updated, but I don't think all of it has to be redone.
Passive - For the most part, it actually can stay in a way as I do like her being able to slay drakes faster and has some interactions with if you do slay drakes.
Q - Honestly this could stay as well. Perhaps add something extra to it like a minor resist shred? I don't know. Just something off the top of my head.
W and E - Now these two can be redone. I'm not sure how, but I will say please do not just give her dashes except her Ultimate.
Ultimate - Now this is something questionable to me at least. Her Ultimate is somewhat left to be desired. On one side, it allows her to become more powerful and is currently her only dash/leap. On the other side, it's rather clunky and lackluster. Of course they have to keep her Ultimate as a way to transform, but for other benefits that should be built into it? That's a mystery to me.
