Stop Crying About These Champs

Every week, or every other day, the boards rotate with people crying about these champions.

Vayne Fizz Riven Annie Kalista

Occasionally Yasuo Garen (since the buff).

None of them are really "OP". Face the facts, either you're getting bested by the better player, or maybe you're just not good as you think you are.

I have yet to be beaten by any of them in lane 1v1. I seen a fed Riven, she isn't that scary like a fed Kat ulting in and penta killing. Her kit is good no doubt, but don't even see no one playing her lcs, and it's hard to generally be fed with her anyways. Actually, I say she's the least champion that I listed that should be complained about (nevermind, Annie is, don't even see why people cry about her LOL).

Also people crying about Fizz's E/troll pole skill. Comical. I never have a problem with it, owait, I don't blindly cast every skill on him when he does it. I'm usually way out of range regardless until after the fact.

I could just write a novel on how to defend yourself against these champions, but people will disagree no matter what. I'm just tired of coming onto these boards everyday, and seeing people cry literally about the same champions, it's every other day. One day it will be Fizz, the next day it will either be Riven, or Vayne.

I'm sorry I'm a good player.

Also, for the people crying, who exactly do you main? I really want to know this. Please tell me, you cry about these champions, but WHO DO YOU MAIN? I bet that same champion you main could become "cancer, toxic, OP"

(I expect to be downvoted for being honest, it's bad players who lose their lane or get bested by the better player).

Looking at the replies, half the people who have replied so far, almost all of them are bronze players performing below average. This unranked account would be a low rank, and would be above average if ranked bronze.

Yes, how dare those people complain about a champion who gets to her late game off of one item, or a champion who can build as an AD Bruiser, do way more damage than a normal one, and be 3 times as mobile. Or that one champion who basically says to you, you're farming under tower until I'm level 9.

Vayne is a hypercarry ADC with extreme self peel. Even has hard CC. And you cannot itemize against her very well. Despite all of this, she does not have a weak point in the game. Most of her current power is that we're in a "catch and kill" meta. A meta ADC's do horrible in. Vayne having some of the best survivability of all ADC's just happens to preform over the top.

Fizz currently is just annoying. His E CD is still a bit stupid low. But that's about it. Would like to see it increased, then maybe reduced for using Q on a target slowed by E or something.

Riven uses broken mechanics. She builds one stat and has damage, mobility, survivability, cc and a medium range aoe execute. All on low CD's. Top it off she's a lane bully, scales very well into late game. Oh and no resource. All of this is built around her managing her CD's and she's melee. She does have her drawbacks. But the fact she can use so much animation canceling to do more than most champions can handle is her problem. And it's not like you have to master these to do well. She still has that whole list above. She needs this canceling fixed and a rebalancing.

Annie is a champion with high damage and instant AoE CC. Comes with one of the strongest early game zoning powers in the game. Which is mostly only countered by pushing the lane, which means you are now a gank target. Not that it is hard for her to gain her passive back after pushing the lane back. Q refunds mana and CD on kill.

It's not that they're overpowered. It's that their kits are extremely unfun to play verses. And the more they are played the more you will hear about them. All of those champions are in the top 16(Fizz being the 16th) played champions. None of them are below 49% win rate. And they are annoying as hell.

The fact that you're shaming other people for being low elo/bronze and you're scared to reveal your "main" account is sad. And the fact that half of your games have almost double digit death makes me think that kda fake asf. Not to mention your cs isn't up to par even when playing Heimer the Donger.

"Bested by the better player"- Annie Garen

You're saying the right message, but you are doing it in the wrong way. Instead of explaining why these champions are beatable, you call everyone bad. There's nothing I hate more than seeing a message I agree with being butchered this thoroughly.

By the way, if you're as good a player as you claim, then you should know stats aren't a very accurate testament to how a game went. People can start off great but as the game progresses you end up dying more because you end taking bigger risks and that can contribute to a negative K/D/A.

lol, you've never lost lane to any of them? That right there is enough information to me. That means you've not played enough to even have a valuable opinion, for many different reasons. Some champions are always destined to be "op" or better the the rest by some margin, it's just a fact of this type of game. Nerfing or buffing outliers keeps the meta from getting stale and the game enjoyable. Your post is more of an annoyance on the boards than anyone's opinions on which champions they feel need changed.

Fizz I hope you weren't planning on doing damage with that skillshot or that incoming jungler, I just jumped out. Yasuo I literally nullify Ultimates and in some cases, entire kits with a basic ability. Oh, and I can get 80% crit from item 3031 and item 3087. Riven I have four dashes, one of which gives me a 100% AD shield, and a AD Scaling Execute that takes less skill to land than Jinx. Annie I win a teamfight with just Flash in some cases, Tibbers is nice but I can also use Incinerate. Vayne I literally hit lategame with item 3153, all other attack speed is just more steroids.

I don't actually know what's the deal with Garen because I haven't played against him much, but otherwise... Yea, these idiots need to get bashed around with the Nerf Hammer.

People can't be bothered to learn fundamental ganking or trading skills.

Fizz (or literally any champ with a good escape really) can escape anything with e? Well then wait for him to use it to clear minions, or start a fight with him and make him use it, then gank right as hes landing or throw out your harass because he's fucked then.

Yasuo windwall and shield are blocking all your harass? Why the fuck are you hitting him so rarely that his 20 second cs windwall or shield that charges by walking are always up? Try improving your aim. Also, ranged autos pop his shield for free, just saying.

Riven has lots of small gapclosers? Well those gapclosers are tied to all of her damage and defense so, if you stand back far enough that she has to use all of them to get to you, then she can't actually do anything when she gets there. Don't know her gapclosing range well enough? That's a basic thing you need to learn to understand zoning, you should work on that.

Annie is too point and click reliable? Maybe you should be a little more conservative with your play against her, stop trying to do flashy shit - you aren't gonna 'lcs outplay juke' that annie q stun into full combo, so stop trying and come up with a different strategy against her than 'hit buttons really fast'. Like, idk, waveclear her under tower so she has to use spells to cs and can't hold her stun for free, then trade with her when she has 0 stun charges.

Scared of fed vaynes/kalistas/jinx? Take a minimal amount of effort in champ select to plan ahead and grab like, a Vi or a malphite or really any actual hard initiator so that when the time comes and she comes into range in teamfights to do damage (which she has to or you win the team fight anyway), you can lock her slippery ass down and finish her before she can react)

New garen got you down in lane? Have you tried... not fighting him and just farming? Shocking, I know, but he actually can't really hurt you at all if you don't deliberately try and fight him in melee range, and if your champ scales at all you're better off just stalemating the lane and taking your chances with teamfighting or splitpushing later when you have items and levels (especially since if you aren't the villain he will lack a lot of his potential to stop your splitpush). But he silences you and comboes you from a bush? Try not going for risky cs when hes sitting in a bush. But I'll fall behind in gold! No you won't, garen isn't csing either when he's sitting in a bush. But he's healing from passive, I have to keep fighting him or all my earlier trades become bad! Why are you trading with garen at all?

I mean really, the problem seems to be that most people just don't want to think, they'd rather just throw their stats against the enemy stats and pray that they have more or that the enemy misses or something - then complain if the enemy actively avoids their damage (this is part of why people hate yasuo and riven, they know that they weren't really putting in any effort to account for their mobility but wanted to lazily get that damage in anyway) or if they lose the stat war (wtf i walked up to garen and started hitting him but then he combod me wtf).

That Riven win rate so pathetic

BeatzBoyFTW8/30/2015, 4:56:45 PM1 votes

You're unranked & no border(technically means you were Bronze last season). It's most likely that you have been fighting the wrong players all this time. And when I say wrong, I'm talking about those who does not have the best skills with the champs they're using, and their playstyle is just being shit.

It's all according to your MMR. You have been fighting nothing but Bronzes & Silvers who doesn't even get shit about champs they're using. Sure you could beat them, but there is a chance you have been defeating players who maxes E on Fizz or those who Flashes from a Garen's Q. If you were fighting against a Plat & above, it's a whole different story.

......and again, you're playing Heim, the most sissiest champs of all. Of course you don't have problems with the listed champs above, when you yourself is too scared to pick a champ who requires LCSplays instead of lazing around his own turrets.

To be honest the only one I have a problem with is Yasuo. While there are some champions even when they're killing you, you at least feel you can do something. Whereas Yasuo can just delete you with one combo even when you shut him down. It's not that he's Op, it's just that he's not fun to lane against.
