Can New soraka go solo lane mid?

Here's a theory crafting thread on the topic; Some people, myself included, are of the opinion that yes, she will be a good solo laner

No because morello hates her.

I fail to see how if she can't go solo lane, she'll be boring to play. Not every champion is going to be liked by everyone. I'm looking forward to trying her as a support.

That said, she probably can go solo lane. She won't do a lot of damage, but instead of bringing damage to later fights, she'll bring healing. She may also be able to stop enemy lanes from getting fed.
